It's finally here! PyCascades 2027 will be taking place once again in the PNW city of Seattle, Washington on the weekend of March 20th-21st, 2027. We're excited to see everyone again for our 9th year of the conference, and our first step to getting ready is launching our CFP Call for Proposals!

As we always do, we love proposals from:

  • People who've never spoken before (we've got mentors for you!)
  • People new to Python
  • People who use Python in their spare time
  • People who want to talk about something that isn't specifically Python

Schedule:

  • CFP Opens: September 21, 2026
  • CFP Closes: October 26, 2026 Anywhere on Earth (UTC -12:00)
  • Speaker Invitations Sent: Week of November 20th, 2026
  • Conference dates: March 20th & 21st, 2027

Submission Guidelines:

  • As you're writing your proposal, keep in mind:
  • There are two options for length: 25 minutes and 40 minutes. Make sure to select the correct option for your talk!
  • All presentations are in-person in Seattle, WA.
  • We will have a session chair introduce you beforehand.
  • There will not be a Q&A after the talk. We encourage attendees to ask questions and discuss in the hallway between talks.
  • By submitting a proposal, you agree to follow the PyCascades Code of Conduct.
